Dimitra A. Lambropoulou is Professor of Environmental Chemistry in the Environmental Pollution Control Laboratory, Department of Chemistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She participates in the university’s Environmental Committee and guides its toxic and lab waste management. Her main research interests are the development and application of novel sample preparation techniques coupled with advanced mass spectrometry approaches in the field of environmental chemistry, the design and application of new materials in analytical and separation sciences, occurrence, transport, fate and effects of emerging contaminants in the environment, environmental and food safety, identification and structure elucidation of organic pollutants by high-resolution mass spectrometry, and the application of “omics” techniques to environmental and food problems.
