Lucía Pareja is an analytical–environmental chemist and Associate Professor who serves as Director of the Department of Chemistry of the Litoral (DQL) at UdelaR’s CENUR Litoral Norte (Paysandú), where she leads the Laboratory of Analysis of Trace Compounds. Her research focuses on the development and validation of multiclass LC–MS/MS methods for pesticides and other contaminants in food and environmental matrices. She has also published on the photolytic/photocatalytic degradation of herbicides and contributes to international forums, including IUPAC and IAEA knowledge exchanges.
