Teresa Rocha-Santos is currently working at the Center for Environmental and Marine Studies (CESAM) & Department of Chemistry, University of Aveiro, Portugal. She graduated in Analytical Chemistry in 1996, and received her Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2000 at the University of Aveiro. Her investigative interests include the study of organic contaminants and microplastics’ fate and behavior in the environment and during wastewater treatment; the biodegradation of microplastics; and the development of novel methods for environmental, food, and health care applications.
